Good Enough For Thee, But Not For Me: Some Pigs Are More Equal Than Others When Flying

From The American Thinker:

Good enough for thee but not for me

No worries for our political elites of having their junk rearranged. TSA says our lawmakers and other high level government officials don't have to be bothered with all this security stuff:

Pilots and flight attendants won't be the only ones able to circumvent some of the Transportation Security Administration's new screening requirements.

The Associated Press reports that "cabinet secretaries, top congressional leaders and an exclusive group of senior U.S. officials are exempt from toughened new airport screening procedures when they fly commercially with government-sanctioned security details."

AP adds that "while passengers have no choice but to submit to either the detector or what some complain is an intrusive pat-down, senior government officials can opt out if they fly accompanied by government security guards approved by the TSA."

If it's not such a big deal, why should anyone be able to opt out? Besides, our government officials should lead by example, don't you think?

Shut up and drop trou.
