A federal appeals court on Tuesday struck down a key part of Arizona's law requiring voters to prove they are citizens before registering to vote and to show identification before casting ballots.



The decision by a three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals found that the law requiring voters to prove their citizenship while registering is inconsistent with the National Voter Registration Act. That federal law allows voters to fill out a mail-in voter registration card and swear they are citizens under penalty of perjury, but doesn't require them to show proof as Arizona's law does.



This dilutes the meaning of being an American while advancing the interests of Third-World colonizers and their sponsors in government. Indeed, this will be a tremendous boost for government bureaucracy, which can never get enough future clients.



All done in the name of helping the poor, of course:





In a statement, one of the attorneys who argued the case said his group was "elated" by the decision.



"This will enable the many poor people in Arizona who lack driver's licenses and birth certificates to register to vote," said Jon Greenbaum, legal director for the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.



Illegal immigrants win, the government wins, and guess who gets the bill?




The real significance of this story is that DC's continuing and escalating war against the people of Arizona validates the League of the South's view that States' Rights, cultural preservation, crime prevention, and the protection of jobs are not separate issues. DC's assault on State sovereignty is just one front in its mad jihad against America's traditional culture, which both backstabbing big business and government parasites see as an impediment to be eliminated.



That's why looking to some champion in DC to stop this madness is futile. Our only hope is to restore the sovereignty of the people of the States. Fortunately, DC's destructive policies are rapidly undermining the Federal government's legitimacy and control.
