The Elections In Arkansas

From Dick Morris:

ELECTIONS IN ARKANSAS

Printer-Friendly Version

Dear Arkansas Friend,

This year Arkansas can make history. You can repudiate the Obama agenda by voting for four new Congressmen and a new Senator.

We begin with John Boozman who is running against Blanche Lincoln. If there was ever a Senator who arrogantly disregarded the will of her voters, it was Lincoln in her strong support for Obamacare. That she would damage our health care system despite our pleas to preserve it, makes her a prime object for defeat.

But it is in the Congressional races that you can have the greatest impact.

AR-4

- Mike Ross

- Beth Anne Rankin (R)

Beth Anne is a personal favorite of mine and Ross is a personal dislike. Ross deserves his own ring of hell in Dante’s Inferno for voting to pass health care out of committee when his was the swing vote and then voting against it twice on the floor in an effort to fool the voters. Beth Anne is a feisty conservative whose outspoken, gutsy campaign deserves your strong support.

AR-1

- OPEN Chad Causey (D)

- Rick Crawford (R)

Chad Causey is just a Congressional lifer, a staffer to Marion Berry who wants to move up to fill the seat his boss gave up. A dedicated liberal, he needs to be kept out of Congress. Rick Crawford, with whom I have met, is an expert on agriculture who prepares radio broadcasts for farmers on market conditions and other issues. This race features an expert against a bureaucrat. Vote for Crawford.

AR-2

- OPEN Joyce Elliott (D)

- Tim Griffin (R)

Tim Griffin, with whom I have also met, was on President Bush’s White House staff when he was called up to serve in the military. He requested assignment to Iraq, putting himself in danger. He is a true patriot. Joyce Elliott would be one of the most ultra liberal members of Congress if we make the mistake of electing her.

Thanks for your help,

Dick
