From Personal Liberty Digest:
Obama Encourages Brazil To Drill
March 23, 2011 by Bob Livingston
While schmoozing and lollygagging in Brazil as the world burned down around him, President Barack Obama made a stunning statement to Brazilians: “We want to help you with the technology to support and develop these oil reserves safely. And when you’re ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers.”
Meanwhile, here in the United States Obama’s drill ban prevents American companies from developing oil and natural gas resources in U.S. waters and from getting to shale reserves in the West and vast deposits in Alaska. His State Department is also holding up plans to build a pipeline that would transport oil from Canada’s tar sands to refineries near Houston. His actions have forced tens of thousands of oil workers and employees of ancillary industries to the unemployment lines.
Obama apparently cares more about growing jobs in Brazil than the U.S., and more about enriching developing nations than in reducing America’s dependence on foreign sources of oil.
His anti-American agenda comes more into focus every day, and his time of reckoning at the ballot box can’t come soon enough.
