‘YUCK!’: SENATE CANDIDATE USES ADORABLE 5-YEAR-OLD TO GIVE ECONOMICS LESSON

From The Blaze:

POLITICS‘YUCK!’: SENATE CANDIDATE USES ADORABLE 5-YEAR-OLD TO GIVE ECONOMICS LESSON

Hudson Hinckley is only five years old, but he has a message for the voters of Rhode Island. Actually, he has several of them.
Hudson is the son of Rhode Island U.S. Senate candidate Barry Hinckley, and he’s now the star of a new campaign ad that could certainly go viral. In the ad, dubbed “Hudson Hinckley’s Economics 4 5-Year-Olds,” Hudson bemoans rising gas prices, ballooning debt, and unemployment. He uses a giant notepad, a few markers, and amazingly refined 5-year-old diction to deliver his message: “Tell your mom and your dad to vote for my dad, Barry Hinckley, ’cause he’s going to balance the budgets.”

But that’s not all he says.
“You know the gas my mom uses to bring me to school? It’s a lot more expenses now. … This is real bad.”

What does he have to say about the national debt? “Yuck!”

Unemployment? Again, “this is real bad.”

“Five-year-olds, are you better off now than you were five years ago?”

By the way, we’ve done stories about liberals using their children to score political points in the past, so it’s worth asking the question: Are you okay with this? Is this different than using a child to ask a politician a question at a town hall? Weigh in.
