Mom seeks removal of Obama campaign poster

A mother in New York hopes to replace a Barack Obama campaign poster in her son's classroom.
Alicia Palifka says her six-year-old son came home one day and informed her there was a poster of President Obama in his school's music room. But according to Palifka, it was no official picture of the president.
"The poster that is up here...says: 'Hope, Progress, Change.' It is a very well-known propaganda poster," she offers, adding that the classroom displays another poster that calls for diversity and understanding -- which she says she found on a website that advocates homosexuality.
Palifka has contacted the teacher, who she says refuses to take down the material. The New York mom now plans to meet with the school's principal and ask that the campaign poster be replaced with an official Obama poster that Palifka purchased.
"He is our sitting president," she notes. "I don't have a problem with any school acknowledging that. But it should be a proper, presidential photograph that actually really honors the respect of the position."
Palifka made her comments recently on American Family Radio's Focal Point program
